National Food Challenge

The National Food Challenge provides a place for youth to compete at the national level. Additionally, the event helps youth develop and exhibit nutrition, healthy food preparation, food safety, communication, and teamwork skills through culinary experience. National Food Challenge participants learn to prepare safe and nutritious foods and make healthy decisions which may decrease their risk of chronic disease now and in the future.
