Champion School Program
The Texas 4-H Champion School Program is a dynamic partnership between local schools and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s 4-H Youth Development Program. Through this collaboration, the program is designed to improve the lives of young Texans and their families by offering experiential learning opportunities within a school setting. The goal of the Texas 4-H Champion School Program extends beyond the classroom by fostering the development of school-based 4-H clubs. In these clubs, students cultivate essential life skills such as responsibility, public speaking, career investigation, and healthy habits. As a result, these skills empower youth to become the leaders of tomorrow.
The following curriculum is suggested for use. Schools may collaborate with Texas A&M AgriLife staff to customize programs that better meet the unique needs of their students, staff, and communities.
