Everyone has a story to tell, especially about 4-H! The Lifelong Impact of 4-H Project was started in 2013 by Drs. Toby Lepley and Martha Couch to gather stories about how 4-H has impacted youth and adults. In October of 2015, the first book was released featuring 31 stories from Texas 4-H Alumni highlighting the impact 4-H has had on them, their family, career, and/or education. As the book was being developed, Drs. Lepley and Couch realized that everyone has a 4-H story, and we want to hear yours.
If you have a unique, interesting, or heart felt story that you would like to share about 4-H, from Texas or across the world, we would love to hear about it. These stories are what bind us all together and helps show others in our communities, country and world the positive difference 4-H makes on families.
To share your story, write it up in 3,500 or less words (approximately 6-7 pages) and submit it through the form below. During your submission process, we will also ask for permission to publish your story in any future books and/or through success stories on our website.
Any proceeds made through the sale of a book or publication is invested into Texas A&M AgriLife Extension 4-H and Youth Development Program
