LESSON PLANS
County agents, community partners and volunteers often need lesson plans that can be used for training other groups or adapted for community presentations for Commissioner's Court or groups such as Kiwanis, Junior League or Parent Teacher Associations.
The lesson plans listed below are developed for 1.5 hour presentations and are designed for older youth and adult audiences. Trainers can adapt the lessons for either shorter or longer presentations as needed.

TEXAS ACTIVITIES
Agents across Texas are developing and adapting activities to meet the needs of individuals and groups involved in their Texans Building Character programs. The Texas Agricultural Extension Service (TAEX) requests that any person who accesses activities from this page give proper reference to the source of the activity whether it is TAEX or another source.
Materials included on this site have been divided by age rather than by one of the eight Texans Building Character program models. Where possible, we will also provide information that will help the user determine if the activity is appropriate for specific audiences such as youth at risk groups.
